Begin with Kandy’s sacred heritage, then discover Nuwara Eliya, Haputale and Ella through scenic travel, tea experiences and optional walks.

Two-night stays in Nuwara Eliya and Ella give you time to explore without changing hotels every day. A final overnight near the airport separates the return journey from your departure flight. Activities and travel arrangements can be adjusted around your interests and preferred pace.

Meet your chauffeur at Bandaranaike International Airport and travel towards Kandy, with breaks along the way.

Settle into your accommodation and rest after your flight. If arrival time allows, enjoy a gentle introduction to the city.

Overnight: Kandy.

This plan assumes an arrival early enough for the transfer. For a late flight, we can arrange an airport-area overnight and revise the itinerary.

Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic before continuing towards Nuwara Eliya.

Enjoy the changing scenery along the drive, with selected stops and time for lunch. Keep the afternoon flexible rather than adding a full sightseeing programme to the transfer.

Check into your accommodation and enjoy a quiet evening.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya.

Spend the day discovering the Nuwara Eliya area at your preferred pace.

An arranged tea-estate or factory visit can introduce you to tea production, subject to the venue’s operating schedule. Combine it with time around town, a garden visit or a relaxed afternoon at your accommodation.

The final selection of activities will reflect your interests, walking preferences and local conditions.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya.

Continue through the hill country towards Haputale and Ella.

A proposed train segment from Nanu Oya to Haputale can form part of the day, subject to a suitable service and confirmed tickets by Sri Lanka Railway. Meet your chauffeur afterwards and continue by road to Ella, allowing for a short stop around Haputale if timing permits.

If suitable rail arrangements are unavailable, travel by private vehicle through Haputale with selected scenic stops instead.

Overnight: Ella.

Enjoy a full day around Ella, with activities selected to match your interests and comfort.

Visit a Nine Arch Bridge viewpoint, with an optional walk such as Little Adam’s Peak if suitable for your ability and the conditions. If you prefer less walking, choose a shorter outing and more time to enjoy your accommodation.

Leave room for a relaxed lunch and an unhurried afternoon.

Overnight: Ella.

After breakfast, begin the return journey towards Negombo or the airport area.

This is a substantial transfer day. Allow time for lunch and comfort breaks, and keep additional sightseeing to a minimum.

Check into your accommodation and spend the evening relaxing before departure.

Overnight: Negombo or airport area.

Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport, with pickup arranged around your flight and airline check-in requirements.

If your flight leaves later in the day, any additional room use or local activities can be discussed in advance and confirmed separately.

Yes. We can discuss changes to your accommodation, sightseeing, train arrangements and duration. Additional nights can create more time in Kandy or the hill country. Changes are subject to availability and may affect the price.

No. The proposed Nanu Oya–Haputale train segment depends on a suitable service and confirmed tickets. Your quotation will specify the travel class and arrangements. If suitable tickets cannot be secured, a private road transfer will be discussed.

No. Hiking is optional, and the itinerary can focus on scenic drives, tea experiences and shorter visits. Tell us about your walking preferences and any mobility requirements before booking so we can discuss suitable arrangements.

The return from Ella is a substantial road journey. Staying near the airport on the final night separates that transfer from your departure flight and gives you time to rest. The arrangements can be reviewed around your flight schedule.
